Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Toyota Corolla

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2023 Toyota Corolla. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it is an exposed cross tube, meaning you can see pretty much the whole portion of the hitch except for the mounting part, but honestly it sits pretty far recessed back with the receiver tube opening protruding. So you get a nice clean look overall and with this rear kind of fascia design here, it does hide it pretty well. Now looking closer at the hitch, this is gonna be an inch and 1/4 because it's a Class I, so you are gonna be a little bit limited when it comes to cargo carriers or bike racks or even ball mounts. But I personally have one of these on my vehicle and it's nice to have that there. That way, if I need to get my bike rack on, I still can. more

Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Toyota Corolla

So this is what our hitch is gonna look like once it's installed and you'll see right away this is an inch and a quarter, and this is a smaller size than your normal hitch. Now on many sedans and small vehicles such as this, including my own personal car, sometimes you're limited to an inch and a quarter, which isn't the end of the world. We'll just need to make sure when you're picking accessories, that you get the shank that's gonna fit that size. What is it capable of Well, this is gonna allow you to be able to put some bike racks, as well as cargo carriers on here. And that's gonna open up what you can actually do with the vehicle and give you a little bit of extra real estate. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Toyota Corolla

Ryan: Hey everybody. Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2019 Toyota Corolla, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is going to be a great way for us to carry our accessories, like a bike rack for example, not only to help free up space on the inside of our Corolla but eliminate the need to deal with any roof mounted accessories. So the hitch is, for the most part, going to be completely visible. It's going to sit just below our bumper, but it does kind of bend and follow the lines of our bumper pretty nicely and the good part about that though, is that it's going to be really easy to access and really easy to use. The hitch is going to give us some pretty good clearance, and what I mean by that is, the end of our receiver tube is going to sit just behind this furthest part of our bumper here, so that should work really well with any folding accessories, giving us a clearance that we need. more
